Welcome to the Laboratory for Human-Environment Interactions Modeling and Analysis (HEIMA)! The HEIMA Lab is an interdisciplinary research group that integrates qualitative and computational social science, environmental and policy impact assessment, and geospatial analytical approaches to advance human-environment geography. We are based in the Department of Geography and the Environment at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, USA.
